Solvd created a dynamic sports news site with a robust and scalable publishing system that will keep fans up to date with club news. This news system allows moderated fan feedback and integration with Facebook allowing fans to like stories. Integration to twitter allows editors to tweet new stories.
Solvd also developed an online scoreboard and league table that calculates league positions based on score, goal difference and number of goals scored. This league scoring system could be applied to any number of competitive team sports that utilise ranking tables. A full matches calendar with post-match scores and reporting system is included that deals with both league, cup, knockout and friendly matches and would fit any team sports with a busy completion calendar.
A bespoke advertising system was also incorporated to maximise the clubs revenues and provide valuable screen space to the clubs advertising partners. Coupled with the Solvd Avertisa module which allows targeted and traceable email marketing to clubs registered fans, keeping them informed and maximising the brand. To retain interest in site and to highlight players (e.g. man of the match, player of the month) Solvd developed and easy to edit splash page displayed on initial load of the site to highlight 3 star players.
