Windows Phone 7 Development

Windows 7 Phone has the most unique UI in the smartphone arena and Microsoft’s penetration and skills in the corporate environment have led to excellent integration with Exchange and the powerful Office Mobile Suite.
Solvds experience in the Microsoft arena and skills in producing good looking user interfaces can allow us to develop a stylish and compliant Windows Phone 7 app for your business.
Development Process
Once the mock-ups are done and approved by the customer the user interface is designed in Microsoft Blend to generate the UI XAML code that forms the basis of the app using standard design templates that ensure that the app fits the Metro design philosophy.

Application code is then generated to fulfil the business requirements and perform the inter-page navigation and screen flow and communicate with outside processes or internal databases as needed. Careful consideration is made during this phase to successfully separate the UI components and logic components to ensure an easy upgrade path in the future or make any potential port to alternative platforms such as Android or iPhone easier.
In-house development testing is performed on the supplied simulator initially and then on reference target hardware to ensure compatibility and a stable responsive product.
When in house testing is completed a video is sent to customer showing the App in action. Following customer approval the package, application icons and application artworks are submitted to the Windows Phone Marketplace for certification testing and insertion into the Marketplace.
Microsoft and Nokia recently announced Windows Phone 7 will become the primary smartphone operating system for Nokia hardware making the competition between iPhone, Android and Windows Phone 7 a three way race.
There is a forthcoming update that will enable full multitasking which Solvd will be well placed to utilise.
